Story
Arden was left in the village by a dying mage, who never returned. With no way out of the village on his own, he had always held onto the hope that one day his magic would awaken and give him access to his spheres. But he’s about to turn eighteen and it’s never come. Instead, he’s settled into his lot as a sarcastic and quick-witted innkeeper. That all changes one night when his old flame, who escaped the village to become a mage’s anchor, returns. Ard’s life is about to go through some dramatic changes, and he’s not ready for them.

A great new series!

I really loved this novel. I usually really enjoy Sentar's books, but this one was especially good. I noticed a line of missing dialogue, but aside from that, the narration was very good at capturing the essence of the characters. Like his other books, this is only intended for adults.

The "touched" still serve the brightlands, working the mines to extract sunstone; to deliver it to the Lightweavers, the saviors, preservers, and rulers of Ashathar.

I honestly wasn't expecting much considering that I hadn't heard of this author and there were very few reviews, but I found myself pleasantly surprised. The narration was pretty good and I found myself listening to it in a similar way to the Cradle series. I'm very much looking forward to listening to book 2.

I'm a pretty big fan of D Levesque and his books and Silver Magi is no exception. I only wish that it was longer, but I suppose that's what volume two is for. There are some spicy scenes that aren't for younger listeners and the premise is certainly an interesting one of you like the supernatural.

I rather enjoyed this story and I thought the narration was quite good. My only real complaint was the insane yandere kitsune that is off-putting to say the least what with her habit of pulling a knife on people.

I really enjoyed tower mage and I've been meaning to listen to it for a while now. The Harem starts to come together early on and I found that Burke isn't afraid to kill likeable characters off for story developments. My only real complaint is that there were a few areas where multiple takes of a line were accidentally left in.

Imagine my luck when I'm transported to a fantasy world where magic is real, beautiful women are bountiful, and the blessing of a goddess creates endless opportunities. Yeah, it is one hell of a way to arrive. Unfortunately, I've got some work to do because my heroic actions just triggered the end of an age. With the help of some lovely new allies, we might just save the day or die trying.

I had been putting off reading this one for more than a year now, but after getting the audio book, I'm finding that I wish I had read it sooner. It feels like a good intro to harem lit, and the one spicy chapter is marked as such and can be avoided if that makes you uncomfortable. I will definitely continue reading this series

So, yes, I've established myself as a half-dragon superhero/celebrity in a weird space fantasy metropolis. And yes, in doing so I inadvertently attracted a harem of gorgeous monster girls. And, true, I seem to be the luckiest guy in the universe for many reasons...but...well...what was I saying again?

If you would have told me a month ago that I'd be a dragon superhero living in a domed fantasy city in outer space, I'd have laughed in your face. If you added the detail that I'd have three awesomely cute roommates competing for my attention, I'd thank you for believing in me...but remain skeptical. Yet those things are both true, and life just keeps getting weirder, wilder, and more awesome. Well—mostly awesome. Turns out my unicorn roommate's soul is merged with an unhinged high elf in the same way I'm fused with my dragon half.
