Story
A manifesto of business practices for those who sell ideas and advice, The Win Without Pitching Manifesto lays out 12 steps - in the form of proclamations - that owners of creative businesses can take to distance themselves from their competition, regain the high ground in their client relationships and learn to win business without first parting with their thinking or writing lengthy proposals. The 12 proclamations were written to inspire owners of independent creative businesses to rethink how their services are bought and sold.

When you find a book that resonates with positioning and expertise, you’ll then realize how much money may have been left on the table from your past. Narrator was excellent. The content was superb and now going to buy the paper book for myself, and other professionals in my circle. Excellent work Blair.

Brian laid out an excellent take-action plan through this book. His testimonials of his business along with other case studies was helpful as they were tangible bits of advice. Applying these concepts here extremely well with a physical product business but also makes sense for a digital product business. Highly recommend for the top shelf of your go to self-help and entrepreneurship books.
Fist bump to you Ryan and also to your business partner(s).

Story
When CEOs think about the supply chain, it's usually to cut costs. But the smartest leaders see supply chain and sourcing for what they can be: hidden tools for outperforming the competition. Steve Jobs, upon returning to Apple in 1997, focused on transforming the supply chain. He hired Tim Cook - and the company sped up the development of new products, getting them into consumers' hands faster. The rest is history.

As a start up entrepreneur in sales and distribution for a physical product, this was an absolute gem. The chapters and topics were to the point and factual based on case studies. For anyone looking to start in distribution I would highly recommend this book. There’s so much to learn through life experience but this could be a great companion for any start up distribution company or entrepreneur. I would listen to it one more time.

Prepare to focus, there’s logic and a method
Reviewed: 02-16-19
What I like about this book is logic and method to validating an idea. This book has forced me to sit down and focus before going out on a whim (emotional decision) and creating the face of a business. The foundation and core are so critical and Pat helps deliver the structure at doing that. The analytical perspective is helpful. I bought audio and paperback along with the online course 👍 Pat has the best intent for us new entrepreneurs.

Bullet point tips

This is the fastest book I’ve ever listen to. I couldn’t stop listening to Chris talk about bullet point, action based tips. I’d recommend this book to beginning solopreneurs or anyone at the point of starting a brand. I wish I would have bought physical book but does offer a companion outline. Either way physical book or audiobook is a winner
