Great Elvis Humor, Short on Storyline
Reviewed: 11-16-22
Cruise does another fine job with Elvis and his sarcastic humor. The storyline could have been longer! I need more dips and doodles to bring out his sarcasm... and Pike didn't "smile" once.

I'm not really wild about the ending. A good Rapp story. Leaves a lot open for a next book.

I'm a believer, it's so well done I had serious dreams while reading (listening to) this book. The "scope" of the reader's voices is limited, yet still well done.

If you could sum up Taken in three words, what would they be?
Scary - too real!
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
Typical Crais ending... it all comes together.
Which scene was your favorite?
Trying to get attic door open.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I drive and listen... so... no...
Any additional comments?
It seems that his books are getting shorter in length. While the subject matter of this book was pretty serious... I really missed the underlying humor of Elvis and Joe that are usually present - those are the things that draw you into their characters.
