Short but hot, hot, hot! Super sexy, rockstar fantasy come true kind of story line. Loved the narrators, two of my favorites. Fingers crossed they narrate book 2.

Story
Xander Penn has been around the block more times than he cares to count, always searching for an elusive something he’s never admitted to wanting, not even to himself, until now. Then again, realizing what he craves doesn’t mean he accepts it. It’s one thing to dabble at the open-door policy club he belongs to, but quite another to declare it to others in the real world. After a harsh rejection pushes away the one person Xander wishes he could pull closer, he spirals down a dark path using meaningless sex more as a punishment than a pleasure.

Ending was to rushed
Reviewed: 03-11-20
Story line was good but seemed to drag on, then sudden stop, it needed more MM interaction toward the end. Just seemed to be missing something. A bit longer perhaps? Now maybe a sequel involving the continued building of the relationship during coming out process, would make story feel more complete. Overall it a good read.

Honestly? My life has been what my father wanted. That’s just an omega’s lot. So, when I was married off to a neighboring alpha’s daughter, I accepted my fate. She’s not a nice person, but for the sake of my pack, I’ll do what’s necessary to keep the peace. At least, that’s what I intended...until I met her brother.

Story
Artie Haynes knows he’s nothing special, with just-your-regular-brown hair, a solid plumber’s job, not much education, and a family that can barely get off the couch. But Artie has quirks - like his love of tropical fish, a landlord who’s a professor of existentialism, a passion for the amazing piano music he hears at a concert hall while he’s fixing the bathrooms - and the fact that he’s never come out as gay and probably never will. But when he’s hired to build a guesthouse for the pianist whose music enchanted him, Artie is swept up into an unimaginable world.

Sweet and fluffy feel good story!
Reviewed: 03-09-19
Tara as always spun a fabulously, sweet and touching tale that kept me interested from beginning to end. Truely a fairytale type story where both mc are heros that save each other. I love it when the storyline has the not so common professions as this one. (And who would think some plumbers crack could lead to your HEA.) It makes for a great change of pace. Ry Forest is a new narrator for me. I am very selective when it comes to the narration of a book and I think he did an amazing job bringing the characters to life. Definitely a "must have" in your library.

I loved the storyline and the narration. Sloane is one of my favorite authors. However I was disappointed with this book only because it felt like it was edited to dead! To me it seems as though it had chunks cut out of the story to shorten the length and it lost the smooth transition between characters, time periods and places.

Overall I really enjoyed this book but as someone that lives near Gatlinburg I'm impressed with the accuracy of the places mentioned. However... the mispronouncation of Sevierville made me CRAZY, it is pronounced the same as severe just with a Ville on the end. The second is the ending, if it was written with intentions of another book it's all good, if not I would like to have better closer. All an all the book made me laugh, cry and feel just about every other emotion there is. Hopefully there is a second book on the way.

Greg Tremblay did a amazing job bringing all of the characters to life. This book is definitely top of my list of books I will listen to again and again. Looking forward to your next book!

Kismet Andreas lives in fear of the shadows. For the young tattoo artist, the shadows hold more than darkness. He is certain of his insanity because the dark holds creatures and crawling things only he can see - monsters who hunt out the weak to eat their minds and souls, leaving behind only empty husks and despair. And if there's one thing Kismet fears more than being hunted - it's the madness left in its wake.

but this one just doesn't measure up to previous books, too drawn out, not enough in the relationship department and which couple is supposed to be the main couple anyways? There just wasn't any sparks! I had a hard time finishing this one.
