About this listen

Can you ever have a second first time?

Josh Carver thinks it's just another lunch with his best friend, Michael - until Michael confesses he just turned down a date with his hot veterinarian crush. It seems Michael's abusive ex left him more scarred than Josh realized.

Josh and his husband, Ian, have done their best to help Michael leave his horrific past behind, but even Josh is stunned when Ian suggests that Josh help Michael with his fear of physical intimacy. After all, it isn't like it would be the first time - Josh and Michael were once each other's firsts.

A hesitant first kiss, and Josh and Michael's natural attraction eases the way. But with Michael still balking at the prospect of sex with someone new, Ian steps into the breach.

Everything is fine and dandy until emotions become so entangled, their friendship - and a marriage - could be at risk.

Warning: Contains three guys who will do anything for each other, a hot tub that's always the right temperature, and a cat with an attitude problem.

Another great story by L A Witt however the narrator just didn't work for me, not enough differences between voices made it a challenge to figure out who speaking at times

Mixed opinion

This was a perfectly reasonable approach to how a healthy relationship can allow for growth. I thought the love an understanding shown through was honest, and the foibles and jealousy realistic too. Dan Rider did a great job narrstingbthis lovely story, and I look forward to more of his work. Also, thank you for the character development and perfect resolution L.A.Witt!

Perfect resolution. Loved it!

I have very mixed feelings about this book...
I did however like the Audio, Dan did a good job with that aspect and making sure you could tell the difference in the three men's characters, coming from Josh point of View. I think the narration made this book a little more bearable for me.
So, I'm not quite sure how I feel about this book in its entirety. For an MMM book its not really an MMM till the very end. I don't really like the way the relationships between Josh, Ian, and Michael plays out. Josh and Ian are married. Michael is their best friend who is dealing with PTSD *For Years* when it comes to relationships and sex.. Josh tries to help Michael by helping getting him through his issues by having sex together. So, This book is basically ALOT of SEX. I can say this.. The Author really does know how to write sex scenes really well. But its a little story, sex, a little more story, sex, a little more, then A Lot More Sex. LOL. Then Ian gets involved in the sex. then the three of them, just more sex. Finally the very last end of this book, they finally figure their crap out and come together as more. Overall it was ok. I'm glad I took a chance to listen. but I probably wont re-read/listen to this one its more of a one and done.

Not too much story, lots of hot stuff, wine and hot tubs.
The narrator was ok. Not my favorite though.
