Story
Fifty people go to sleep in their own beds and wake up in a compound in the middle of the jungle. Men and women from all walks of life with only one thing in common - none of them know where they are or how they got there. Alex is a paratrooper. Yael is a mathematician. Max is a law professor. They can't leave - a lethal barrier surrounds the facility, but no one knows if it's there to keep them in, or to keep something out.

Great story, great reader!!

Dystopian novel with some interesting twists. If you're into that genre (which I can usually take or leave depending on the story), you owe it to yourself to check out this book.
It's too bad that Rob Zaleski was done more work as a reader. Great voice!

Great story of Israel's entry into the nuclear clu
Reviewed: 08-30-16
The story spans the critical years of the birth of Israel and its growth into a nuclear power.
The characters are well developed and mostly believable. The adult relationship between the 2 main characters is well done without being pornographic.

Story
While trailing a Chinese nuclear attack sub, Jerry Mitchell, the captain of USS North Dakota, is shocked to see the Chinese boat torpedo a Vietnamese merchant ship. This blatant act of aggression is the opening gambit in a war that has blindsided the U.S. and quickly embroiled all nations in the western Pacific. These nations, bound together in the newly formed Littoral Alliance, have begun a covert submarine campaign aimed at crippling China’s economy.

Bad character voices
Reviewed: 07-09-16
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Dick Hill?
Edoardo Ballerini or David Strathairn
Any additional comments?
As a Larry Bond fan, I was disappointed with character conversations in the Audible version of the book. Where I expected to hear crisp, clear and military-sounding commands and responses in the first few minutes, I instead heard what sounded to me like lazy East Coast accented character voices.
I didn't go beyond the first few minutes of the Audible version. Guess I'll have to read the book instead.
