Story
To those who study plants, the Chamala represents the Holy Grail. Finding it would be the discovery of a lifetime - make that a dozen lifetimes. It produces a berry with phytochemistry possessing the unique ability to hyperstimulate nerve cell reproduction. It will be instrumental in the development of the next generation of biopharmaceuticals capable of curing blindness, deafness, dementia and paralysis. Famous botanist, Doctor Liberty Belle Corcoran, may have the inside track in the search for the Chamala plant. While speaking at the Global Federation of Botanists' annual symposium on the island of Mahé, she learns of its possible location from the mysterious Cheung brothers.

What made the experience of listening to The Chamala Quest the most enjoyable?
If you are looking for something different, and are not afraid of trying something "off the beaten path", definitely give this book a try! Not the cookie cutter suspense book. A little it of everything different - not for the super straight listener, so be prepared for some surprises! There is adventure, mixed sexual situations (but not over the top), suspense, romance, twists and turns - very detailed, colorful characters and script. The author is very detailed in his presentation, descriptive, you can really see and feel the sights, sounds, and emotions of the story.
What about Charles Dee Smith’s performance did you like?
Descriptive characters, - very detailed on all levels, visual, emotional, etc. You can feel like you are in the moment - all very real!
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, but better listened to in several settings, as it is so detailed!
Any additional comments?
Nice to hear a new author - new ideas!

Is there anything you would change about this book?
Basic 101 for newer managers. Good examples, but not really in depth enough for truely upper level executive women. The author reads the book, she has a soft, monotone voice, almost too soft and monotone for an audio book.
Would you ever listen to anything by Jennifer K. Crittenden again?
Perhaps
Would you be willing to try another one of Jennifer K. Crittenden???s performances?
Not really a performance, Non Fiction.

Story
Before Liz Lemon, before Weekend Update, before Sarah Palin, Tina Fey was just a young girl with a dream: A recurring stress dream that she was being chased through a local airport by her middle-school gym teacher. She also had a dream that one day she would be a comedian on TV. She has seen both these dreams come true. At last, Tina Fey's story can be told. From her youthful days as a vicious nerd to her tour of duty on Saturday Night Live. Tina Fey reveals all, and proves what we've always suspected: You're no one until someone calls you bossy.
