The best!

Mr. Muller has spoiled me for other narrators; I keep coming back to look for other books he's done.
Together, he and John Grisham produce stories that keep me glued to my seat, I can't imagine a more compelling duo than these two.
I've read many of Grisham's books in the 80's and 90's but haven't enjoyed them nearly as much as when I began listening to them read by Frank Muller.

A gripping story

Hold on to your hat because this is riveting.
The narration is wonderful; Mr. Muller is the best at holding one's attention. He's been accused of being too 'breathy' and perhaps there's some truth to that in earlier readings but that's not the case here. He makes me feel that he's as spellbound as I.

A beautiful story

First, Geroge Hearns has a rich voice that is mesmerizing, I could listen to those pipes all day.
A perfect match for this wonderful story; characters you want to know and a tale that ends all too soon.
I so want to hear more from this author and this narrator.

Apache hitman "Crow" Cromartie's mission is simple: find young Amber Francisco and bring her back to her father, Louis, in Florida. It should be an easy payday for a pro like Crow, but there are complications. Amber, now living in squalor with her mother, Fiona, is mixed up with members of a Latino gang. And when Louis orders Crow to kill Fiona before heading back with Amber, he can't follow through.

Could have been better

Like the other reviewers mentioned, the narrator's 'he said, she said' drove me to distraction.
How did this get past an editor?
It's awful enough to ruin a good book.
