This is a short version of The Game Of Life and How to Play it
Reviewed: 02-11-25
Good book but if you’ve already read The Game of Life and How to Play it, this is the same just a shorter version. A lot of the same verbiage is used also. I would still give it a 10/10

Story
In this classic best seller, Florence Scovel Shinn helped to define the personal success genre. Written in the new thought tradition, her message is simple yet transformative - we receive back what we put into the world through our actions, energy, and attitudes. Negativity and pessimism are returned in kind, but by switching the script in favor of positive attitudes and affirmations, we are able to manifest success and joy in everything we do. Life, Shinn tells us, is not a battle of us against the world, but rather a game of giving and receiving.

Book of faith

I like that the book talks mostly about having faith or how to get faith. I love the affirmation examples as well. I’ve read the book twice in one year. I’m sure I’ll read it again in the future.

I loved chapter one , started to lose interest in chapter 2. But I have a lot of books that I started and never finished, I didn’t wanna add this one to the list. As I continued reading , I absolutely started to fall in love with this book. It took me one week to read the first 3 chapters but two days to finish the rest! I was born in 93 but somehow Will was able to take me back to a time I wasn’t even born in. I felt like I was there in the 80s when he started out. I love how he mimics Charlie Mac , I feel like he needs to write a book himself lol. Man oh man I love this book. I’ll read again one day.
