Story
Agile, say its enthusiasts, can transform your company, catapulting you to the head of the pack. Not so fast. In this clear-eyed and indispensable audiobook, Sarah Elk and Steve Berez provide a much-needed reality check. They dispel the myths and misconceptions that have accompanied agile's growth - the idea that it can reshape your organization all at once, for instance, or that it should be used in every function and for all types of work.

A comprehensive guide book on how to be more creative
Reviewed: 09-18-23
This guide book on creativity offers a lot of interesting ideas, insights, and tools to be more creative personally and professionally as an individual and as part of a team or an organisation. A key insight for me is that it’s important to have the right balance of divergent and convergent thinking and ideas for creative problem solving and to innovate and bring about the right change.
The chapter on creative leadership elegantly explains how creativity, innovation and leadership are connected and enable and bring about the necessary change which is so fundamental to survive and thrive in today’s life and work environment.
Highly recommended to anyone looking to enhance and develop one’s own or an
organization’s creativity.

A gripping story
Reviewed: 05-15-23
Loved the story telling - a gripping and compelling story of 2008 financial crisis. It’s not just about the unfolding of important events and developments but also about how the key players of the Wall Street and the Government involved in managing the crisis for their respective organisations and for the US and global financial system overall - how they behaved, conducted themselves and the results and impact of their decisions. A must read for those interested in the financial system and the financial services industry.

Story
In 1912, scientist Marie Curie spent two months on the British seaside at the home of Hertha Ayrton, an accomplished mathematician, inventor, and suffragette. At the time, Curie was in the throes of a scandal in France over her affair with Paul Langevin, which threatened to overshadow the accomplishment of her second Nobel Prize. Performed by Kate Mulgrew and Francesca Faridany at the Minetta Lane Theatre, this play by Lauren Gunderson is an ode to two remarkable women.
