Really loved this book, super sweet and romantic. The main characters family can get a little annoying with how overbearing they are, but it’s nothing too obnoxious.

I’m someone who can get past a narrator who has a annoying voice. I’ve noticed with the new book Debbie just got on audible are all read by older women & men so when the characters say they are 30 or younger it doesn’t add up. I always end up thinking they are older because of the voice of the narrator. If there was a younger woman reading it wouldn’t have been too bad but honestly it was a good book and you can get past the older narrator!

Tiffy and Leon share an apartment. Tiffy and Leon have never met. After a bad breakup, Tiffy Moore needs a place to live. Fast. And cheap. But the apartments in her budget have her wondering if astonishingly colored mold on the walls counts as art. Desperation makes her open minded, so she answers an ad for a flatshare. Leon, a night shift worker, will take the apartment during the day, and Tiffy can have it nights and weekends. He'll only ever be there when she's at the office. In fact, they'll never even have to meet.

I loved this book so much!! I love the characters especially Tiffy. She’s like a breath of fresh air almost and Leon is so awkward it’s adorable! The friends and even Leon’s brother all make the story even better! I also love the personal interview with the author at the end. I thought it was awesome listening to her talk about the book for a few minutes and the scene where they meet is ICONIC! 10/10 would recommend :)

Story
In a sleepy seaside town in Maine, recently widowed Eveleth "Evvie" Drake rarely leaves her large, painfully empty house nearly a year after her husband’s death in a car crash. Everyone in town, even her best friend, Andy, thinks grief keeps her locked inside, and Evvie doesn’t correct them. Meanwhile, in New York City, Dean Tenney, former Major League pitcher and Andy’s childhood best friend, is wrestling with what miserable athletes living out their worst nightmares call the "yips": he can’t throw straight anymore, and, even worse, he can’t figure out why.

Great story
Reviewed: 08-22-19
This was a great story but a few things really irritated me. Esme never took the time to get to know him at all and would be very upset when he couldn’t figure out why she was so triggered about certain things. I think she was very obnoxious with the whole “poor girl” situation. She assumed everyone looked down on her because of her upbringing but she never even told him anything about her. Once you get past those things and his god awful mother the story is really good and I really enjoyed it I just wish someone things would’ve been a little different.

Story
Laurie is sure love at first sight doesn't exist anywhere but the movies. But then, through a misted-up bus window one snowy December day, she sees a man who she knows instantly is the one. Their eyes meet, there's a moment of pure magic...and then her bus drives away. Certain they're fated to find each other again, Laurie spends a year scanning every bus stop and cafe in London for him. But she doesn't find him, not when it matters anyway. Instead they "reunite" at a Christmas party, when her best friend, Sarah, giddily introduces her new boyfriend: the man from the bus.
