Can a trip away lead you home?

After a bad break-up, eternal optimist Evie Miller has moved to the small village of Willowbrook to finally pursue her dream of opening a craft shop. Unfortunately, with money worries and an ex-boyfriend determined to track her down, her fresh start isn't going entirely to plan.

Jake Hartwood is also looking to escape his past. Haunted by the loss of his wife, he's determined not to get close to anyone again - and the last thing he wants is to be celebrating this December.

Hoping to avoid the festivities, Evie and Jake arrange to escape Christmas together as friends in Provence. But will the magic of the season change things between them?

And what happens if one of them starts to feel something more?

Great story

I loved it... I’m a sucker for Christmas Romance but this had a nice twist on it where the main focus was on the couple & not all the Christmas hoopla. I thought there was good character development on the two main characters

Wonderful story!

This is a story about overcoming grief by both main characters. A life affirming hopeful story. Great narrator. And the title is appropriate, the holiday they took together was the turning point in the story. Loved it.

NOT a feel good Christmas book

I'm so disappointed. I got this because it was supposedly similar to the whimsical holiday romance The 12 Dates of Christmas and it's not even close! They don't even actually celebrate Christmas in this book, the characters skip it all together. It's full of depressing topics and it more about overcoming grief and bad relationships than anything else. I don't think this title is appropriate. The story is fine and it's written well, but don't market it as a feel good Christmas romance book because it's not at all. To me it was the opposite of feel-good.
