My son only has ADHD, and is pretty verbal and communicative, however, he misses a lot in his environment and his communication isn't effective. This book was recommended by the ADHD Dude (check him out on YouTube) as a way to get my son to think more about what he's doing, to participate in his environment and to provide a foundation for better communication. Highly recommend this book for all caregivers of ADHD and autistic kids!

Super empowering and enlightening book. My eyes were opened, not only to the tactics of my abuser but also to why it happened in the first place. the Author offers so many resources for healing and empowerment, for when you are ready to begin that journey. Highly recommended this book!

Very good book, I took down a number of pages of notes as I plan to and have already begun implementing this method. I feel like this is a good way to let your child know that you hear them and that they matter. too many parents emotionally starve their children, even without knowing it. That's why so many young people are troubled these days. This book is a huge wake up call to anyone who doesn't think their kids emotions are important. Its already made a difference in my kids in the first week. when they know they matter, they don't act out to get attn.
