I do like Cassandra's work I'm just not a fan of the constant pausing to tell me the color of the sky or the smell of the air. it all seems mistimed but that's just me. the story is outstandingas always and the performance is amazing!

This was a great story! I truly loves it from begining to end. The characters were relatable and I felt their emotions throughout the story. I didn’t know what to expect going into this book, but I truly love what I got out of it. I highly recommend this book for anyone who loves witchy, magical, midevil, lovestory, style stories. If you love books, read this or listen to the audiobook, which I did and it was fantasticically read and acted!

Truly unique Story
Reviewed: 11-12-23
This was a truly unique story that kept e guessing all the way to the end. The characters were written so well, I cared for all of them and what they wanted to accomplish. This story was a thrilling adventure that is compketely different than I expected and it was a fatastic different to the point of being awesome.
The voice actoring was spot on for the characters making the story that much more exciting to listen to. I highly reommend this story to anyone who wants something different than the normal story with the basic tropes.

Story
What's right is right. Sonya Kantor knows this slogan—she lived by it for most of her life. For decades, everyone in the Seattle-Portland megalopolis lived under it, as well as constant surveillance in the form of the Insight, an ocular implant that tracked every word and every action, rewarding or punishing by a rigid moral code set forth by the Delegation. Then there was a revolution. The Delegation fell. Its most valuable members were locked in the Aperture, a prison on the outskirts of the city. And everyone else, now free from monitoring, went on with their lives.

I have been waiting for this book to come to audiobook for years and I finally got my wish. It lived up to my expectations and blew them out of the water. The story is fantastic with a character you can relate to. I could feel her struggles throughout the story and can’t wait for book 2 to come out on audio.

I love books about Norse mythology and this story has the same type of feeling. The detail in the belief systems and gods are brilliant and well planned out. The MC is likable and is written well when it comes to her story and progression. The narrator captures the true feeling of each of these characters through her voice. I love this book.

I loved this book!
This is a well planned, well written story that had me wanting more, Even when I had to pause it I couldn’t wait to push play again. I truly felt the characters need for accomplishing her goals and the love of her best friend. The story had me guessing the wrong villain and I loved the twists and turns the story had to offer. I highly recommend this book and even bought the hard cover for my wife to enjoy.
