There were times I just had to stop listening because I couldn't stand to hear what happened next, or what I thought was going to happen. What happened was never what I expected. Very well written. You'll never see what coming and this ain't even a "Suspense" book. I loved it all except when it said, "The End"

Story
Simone used to be the woman that other women would use if they suspected that their partner was cheating. She would investigate, find out the truth, and if the men were guilty, exact revenge. But after things went wrong with one couple, Simone was forced to go into hiding. Simone is now Mary, a mild-mannered woman who doesn't raise her voice or get angry, meaning nobody would suspect her of being capable of the things she used to do for a living. But when she finds out that her new boyfriend is having an affair, it awakens in her the person she used to be.

Not your typical murder
Reviewed: 05-06-24
Very interesting. I listen to a lot of books regarding murder. I love your in this book they're not working with the typical evidence. Nor is it the cops who are really working to solve the crime. Yes, they are involved, peripherally almost. Idk keep you guessing until the end

Interesting story. If your sex life is lacking, you need this book. Guaranteed to get your juices flowing. I like the way Henry opens up throughout the series. But wish Scott had been around longer to wreak more havoc.

What a story! Heartache. Suspense. I feel like the use of the word N***a was a bit excessive, but didn't damage the story. I wish Nori and Tangie had been around for the surprise ending. That would have been the sweetest revenge. The ending of their story was perfect

I love how she wanted until the end to throw you for a loop. It totally caught me off guard. In a good way. I appreciate the way Constance was able to avoid a horrible marriage and despised how their parents were willing to sacrifice their daughters in order to clean up their mistakes. Great find.
