Story
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Very enjoyable. Heartfelt, adventurous, and raw. I liked him before, but even more so now. I hope they find peace.

Story
Chemist Elizabeth Zott is not your average woman. In fact, Elizabeth Zott would be the first to point out that there is no such thing as an average woman. But it’s the early 1960s and her all-male team at Hastings Research Institute takes a very unscientific view of equality. Except for one: Calvin Evans; the lonely, brilliant, Nobel–prize nominated grudge-holder who falls in love with—of all things—her mind. True chemistry results.

Story
After a long and eventful life, Allan Karlsson ends up in a nursing home, believing it to be his last stop. The only problem is that he's still in good health, and in one day, he turns 100. A big celebration is in the works, but Allan really isn't interested (and he'd like a bit more control over his vodka consumption). So he decides to escape. He climbs out the window in his slippers and embarks on a hilarious and entirely unexpected journey, involving, among other surprises, a suitcase stuffed with cash.

An entertaining trip through time

The first chapter starts with a hilarious pursuit of an escapee- the hundred-year-old man. As the search continues we learn of his interesting life with humor and a most clever 'almost' history lesson (if the tales were true). Loved the narration and have been recommending it to friends.

A fun quick listen that doesn't require you follow each character, yet flows through her first year in NYC. Great narration. Now, where are all these single, eligible guys? Most guys I have heard about from friends are not at all like these men; Kate needs to share her tips on how to find the good ones.

Story
I’ve been in this life for fifty years, been trying to work out its riddle for forty-two, and been keeping diaries of clues to that riddle for the last thirty-five. Notes about successes and failures, joys and sorrows, things that made me marvel, and things that made me laugh out loud. How to be fair. How to have less stress. How to have fun. How to hurt people less. How to get hurt less. How to be a good man. How to have meaning in life. How to be more me. Recently, I worked up the courage to sit down with those diaries.

What a storyteller. Charming, endearing, honest, and sympathetic. From the moment I started listening, I didn't want to stop. Ok, it helps that the author himself is an Oscar award winning actor, so the narration is amazing, but he is truly a very gifted storyteller. And, what a life he has lived! Some would think he'd end up some unknown in a little town still in Texas with his chaotic upbringing, but somehow those life lessons instilled some very down-to-earth, common sense, yet extremely intelligent choices he has made and success has followed. I loved his honesty and can't wait for the next book.

Story
For years, rumors of the "Marsh Girl" have haunted Barkley Cove, a quiet town on the North Carolina coast. So in late 1969, when handsome Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so-called Marsh Girl. But Kya is not what they say. Sensitive and intelligent, she has survived for years alone in the marsh that she calls home, finding friends in the gulls and lessons in the sand.

I feel as if it took me about 20 chapters to get into this book. It was a little slow moving in the front, but once you got into the characters and their deep development and the intricacies about them, the story of their lives really started to come to life.
By the end of the book I didn't want to stop listening. And the last part had me tear up on numerous occasions. The ending was powerful and poignant.
This story teller did a great job creating different voices and tone ality for each of the characters it was a great listening experience.
