Story
What would happen if the noisiest, most talkative class of 5th graders in history dared each other not to talk for 48 hours? This is the premise Andrew Clements explores in one of his most compelling stories yet.

I liked this story more than some of the other books by Andrew Clements and the narrating is spot on!

Story
This summer the Penderwick sisters have a wonderful surprise: a holiday on the grounds of a beautiful estate called Arundel. Soon they are busy discovering the summertime magic of Arundel's sprawling gardens, treasure-filled attic, tame rabbits, and the cook who makes the best gingerbread in Massachusetts. But the best discovery of all is Jeffrey Tifton, son of Arundel's owner, who quickly proves to be the perfect companion for their adventures.

THIS IS THE BEST BOOK EVER
Reviewed: 11-06-22
I've read this so many times, I've lost count! My favorite book ever. I loved the narrator, she was the best. The characters are lovable, interesting and bold, with nice personality conflicts. I could go on and on about the story and how Mrs. Tifton was the perfect twist in this perfect summer. The beginning really drew me in and the end was touching with Batty giving Jeffrey her picture. I would not listen to some of the other reviews concerning the content of this book. I would highly recommend this book!

Story
Springtime is finally arriving on Gardam Street, and there are surprises in store for each member of the family. Some surprises are just wonderful, like neighbor Nick Geiger coming home from war. And some are ridiculous, like Batty's new dog-walking business. Batty is saving up her dog-walking money for an extra-special surprise for her family, which she plans to present on her upcoming birthday. But when some unwelcome surprises make themselves known, the best-laid plans fall apart.

This is a delightful listen and I really enjoyed it. The suspense was added at the right moments and the characters were colored perfectly. With the personality conflicts, it built the story to an amazing climax. I would recommend this book and all the other books by Julie Berry!
