Story
“Homecoming” takes us back to Ford County, the fictional setting of many of John Grisham’s unforgettable stories. Jake Brigance is back, but he’s not in the courtroom. He’s called upon to help an old friend, Mack Stafford, a former lawyer in Clanton, who three years earlier became a local legend when he stole money from his clients, divorced his wife, filed for bankruptcy, and left his family in the middle of the night, never to be heard from again—until now. Now Mack is back, and he’s leaning on his old pals, Jake and Harry Rex, to help him return. His homecoming does not go as planned.

Decent stories but 2 of the 3 really didn't have an ending which was unsatisfying. All three narrators were good. January LaVoy excellent as always.

Good story, narrator voice of Amos Decker
Reviewed: 02-05-21
This is a good King and Maxwell story but I have a problem with their choice of narrator. He's good, but he also narrated some of the Amos Decker series and I find myself confused about which series I'm listening to. A different narrator's voice changes the tone and tenor of the characters in a series. Plus Scott Brick is hard to beat; he's the best narrator of all in my opinion.
