Story
Jacques McKeown is the most celebrated author of star-pilot fiction in the galaxy. He's rich, famous, and living in luxury, and his universe-wide fanbase eagerly awaits any news of his next book. There's just one small hitch. He's not Jacques McKeown. He's Dashford Pierce, star pilot and con artist, and if only the impatient calls from his publisher were the worst of his problems. There's also the last vestige of the Henderson crime gang, trouble brewing in the retired star-pilot community, and a small matter of somebody trying to kill him.

Story
With magic declassified in the UK, the fake psychics and fraudulent healers are running amok, and it's up to the Department of Extradimensional Affairs' newly appointed Skepticism Officers to crack down. But when they set their sights on Modern Miracle, a highly suspicious and fast-growing faith healing cult with remarkably good social media presence, even their skepticism is put to the test.

Compelling storytelling

I enjoyed the first book and listened to this second book on daily walks. I only allowed myself to listen when taking walks which served a great motivation to walk daily as I wanted to know what was going to happen next! Each of the parts in the story were set up well and satisfyingly wrapped up after many exciting twists with just enough loose threads to make me anticipate and hope for a third book to this series.

I enjoyed this series. Decent mysteries and plot twists, meant likeable characters though the protagonist was industrial at times because of her lack of accountability for her actions

This was a great casual mystery. The performance was subtle, not too over the top, which I liked. I will definitely check out some other titles from this author.

Fine-art aficionado. Master of disguise. Jewelry expert. Historian. Gentleman. Burglar. Arsene Lupin is all of these and more. In 1905, Maurice Leblanc introduced his gentleman-burglar in the story "L'Arrestation d'Arsène Lupin". Shortly thereafter, the stories were collected as one single volume. In these charming adventures, Lupin orchestrates a myriad of extravagant heists in the very face of the determined Inspector Ganimard.

loved this narrator!

I am sometimes easily distracted while listening to audiobooks, especially because I tend to be doing other tasks. I found these stories easy to follow, even if I had "zoned out" for a bit. The performance by the narrator was just excellent. His grasp for accents and voices allowed him to seamlessly move between characters in a way that was not distracting and kept me immersed in the story.

Story
Despite constant efforts to declutter your home, do papers still accumulate like snowdrifts and clothes pile up like a tangled mess of noodles?Japanese cleaning consultant Marie Kondo takes tidying to a whole new level, promising that if you properly simplify and organize your home once, you'll never have to do it again. Most methods advocate a room-by-room or little-by-little approach, which doom you to pick away at your piles of stuff forever.

Changed my outlook

I found this book when the author of Tiny Habits (another book I highly recommend) mentioned it in his book. The method seemed strange and a little eccentric at first but the more I listened, the more I understood and it makes total sense! I have been recommending this book to everyone I know! If you are feeling a little stuck in life, this is a great book to help change how you view your space and your belongings, and possibly help jump start you to a better place.
