The book focuses on POC, female, and LGBTQ+ spies which is crucial in a time when the US is vilifying and removing rights from them.

My favorite holidays are Halloween and Christmas and my favorite book of 2023 was RWRB so I was giddy at the idea of this book. unfortunately, the idea was the only positive about it. The writer tried way too hard to be edgy and Coal was oftentimes unlikable. The narrator was just awful. It has to be played at 2x speed to make him sound like he's speaking at a normal speed and even then the pauses are an eternity. I don't recommend it whatsoever.

Loved Pierce and James's enemies to lovers/forced proximity, quick burn.
While the narrator wasn't the best I've heard, he wasn't bad either. He puts more emotion into the love scenes than the rest of the book.

I enjoyed the witchy werewolf vibe of the book. The romance was a bit shallow but still okay. The narrator wasn't bad either.

I enjoyed the book quite a bit even if the epilogue was completely unnecessary. The narrator was good.

Agatha was too pompous to be likable, the story was shallow, and the LGBTQ stereotypes were abhorrent. The narrator wasn't bad.

Link is probably my favorite character so him having his own novella was a nice treat.

Ethan irritated me a few times by being a misogynistic boy but still really enjoyed the book.

A good set up for what has the potential to be an epic tale. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
