This book is mainly short stories. This, in my opinion, is a cash grab. I would return it if i didn't want to have the whole series. I hope you read this audible. This was a cold move by the author.

Looks like the author might be setting up for a schook arc with all the new characters. Though i hope for some wars and the viper shows some world wrecking power. Though i wish that jake had leveled up more, but the story was fun and good as always.

Story
Not every man can handle a magitech gauntlet that speaks in floating silver text, or a handful of women with unique...needs. I’m not every man. When a bad blind date got worse - like, interdimensional lightning storm worse - I woke up to a realm of dragon women, magical kobolds, and a playful monkey girl with a painful secret. I also accidentally (totally on purpose) stole an ancient artifact in the form of a black gauntlet that bonded with my body and unlocked various new abilities. So what’s the catch? The glove wasn’t meant for me. It was meant for the fabled Hero of Silura.

This was a cute story

I loved it only a few naughty scenes but they were done tastefully. there was none of the macho alphamale thing or woke stuff you find in other books. This was just a good harem book with down to earth characters.
read it!!!

Story
For over 30 years, Dominion of Blades has been the hottest online role-playing game in the world. But the game is too real for some, and after an epidemic of real-life fatalities, public use of the immersion technology has been banned. Jonah wakes to find himself in-game, level one, with no memory of how he arrived and no way to eject. With only two companions, trapped in a world that once hosted millions, Jonah must battle his way across a treacherous landscape, fighting virtual monsters, all too real pain, and a very human enemy.

THIS WAS AN OK BOOK.

This book was ok, though i was not emotionally invested in the book at all. it had a few funny parts, i only got it because the author wrote dungeon crawler carl. This book in my opinion is LGBTQ friendly and the author does virtue signal. I wish would of known about the LGBTQ stuff before i bought it but audible does that a lot, not putting it under the genre.

Story
Kaiju: Battlefield Surgeon. Survival horror. One of the most brutal, most terrifying full-immersion games ever made. A place where fantasy characters such as elves and dwarves clash with technology, where giant monsters roam the hills, entrusted with protecting the gates of heaven from the demons who would tear it all down. A game where one plays the last of the battlefield surgeons: a healer tasked with keeping the behemoths alive at all costs. But on this server, they don't care about the game. They've come because of the game's most unique feature: full pain.

Story
Even as the heroes of old return to the front stage as the world's adversary–as was foretold–the way forward is fraught with traps and machinations by those who seek to further their own objectives with no regard to the harm they bring upon the innocents. Meanwhile, the world is still afflicted by the ticking time bomb in the form of the Curse of Extinction that can extinguish the light of mankind all on its own, independent from even the mighty Calamities. But this seems to do little to unite the people in working together against the incoming crisis.

Another great book, though this one was more sadder then the other ones. It went on a bit of a tangent where he lived with normal citizens and got close to them. you'll also get to see his transformation into a calamity, read the book.

The book got woke in the end, but you should have seen that coming in the last book. In this book, lucillia had a baby with softi, and durango was still a selfish a☆☆hole. But it was still funny; that's the part that has some people mad, though.
