Terrible narrator

I like the series, but not sure why they didn’t stick with the same narrator. This one, however, is awful.

Story
There are more than just paintings on display at the St. Albinus art festival as Mack shows up one morning to find a body propped up against one of the easels. And worse, a threatening message on the body indicates this might not be the killer's last victim. Deciding that solving this crime is her key to making a name for herself in town—for a good reason, for once—Mack immediately decides she’s going to figure out who killed the artist. But, she very quickly discovers that the victim had a lot more than watercolors on his palette.

Producer needs to check this recording. There are a couple chapters from another book intermingled in this one. Someone who hasn’t listened to the other book is going to be very confused. Otherwise, it was good.

Another disappointment

I have read or listened to every one of the Stone Barrington books. The last few books have been disappointing and this one was as well. It was ridiculous to think someone could hide out in Stone's house unnoticed. And, IMO, Tony Roberts should have been replaced 10 books ago. He makes all the characters sound old and lifeless.

Extremely disappointed

I can't even get through this book, and I've tried three times. After listening to more than 50 Stuart Woods books, this one ended it for me. It's time for Tony Roberts to retire.
