Publisher's summary

Teddy Fay hedges his bets in the latest thriller from number-one New York Times best-selling author Stuart Woods.

When Peter Barrington and Ben Bachetti come under threat while working at a film festival abroad, Teddy Fay is lured to the glittering city of Macau to resolve the problem. He'll soon come to find that world of posh casinos, luxurious developments, and boundless wealth has a dark underbelly of crime and political intrigue...and that the biggest players behind the scenes may be far closer to home than anticipated.

With international deals and private vendettas at stake, the villains behind the plot aren't about to let Teddy stand in their way. What they don't know is that this seemingly harmless film producer has more than a few tricks up his sleeve.

Exceptional

I began following Stuart Woods with the Will Lee novels and every character he writes has captured my attention and admiration. This story is one of the most complex but enjoyable yet.

A very enjoyable engaging listening experience.

Teddy Fay is no longer superhero strong and invincible which seems to have surprised some fans. All of Stuart Woods signature characters are approaching their Fifties and more, and I admire the author’s efforts to portray Teddy Fay as a very capable but aging character whose talents requires more effort now that he’s older.

The book was fun, well done and worth listening to. And like all fans I have read every book - many more than once or even twice.

It's a thumbs down for me

this is the first Stuart Woods book I didn't enjoy. The plot was slow and the characters were hard to follow. I usually love the Teddy Faye character but not in this book.

Weak Story and unpaired narration

This fell like the author just mailed it in. Very weak plot and character development. Normally, Mr Roberts has mor enthusiasm when reading but not this book.

Time to Stop

The last five or so books in any of the series have been very boring Stuart Woods is not riding him by himself that’s obvious it’s time to hang up the series I’m disappointed every time I listen to one
