She tells with bravery and dignity for the first time the story of how she and her mother were betrayed and sold into sexual slavery in China and forced to suffer terrible psychological and physical hardship before they finally made their way to Seoul, South Korea - and to freedom.

Story
Our ancestors crossed deserts, mountains, and oceans without even a whisper of what anyone today might consider modern technology. Those feats of endurance now seem impossible in an age where we take comfort for granted. But what if we could regain some of our lost evolutionary strength by simulating the environmental conditions of our forbears? Investigative journalist and anthropologist Scott Carney takes up the challenge to find out: Can we hack our bodies and use the environment to stimulate our inner biology?

an interesting listen on communication skilsd
Reviewed: 07-13-17
a little dated in places but never-the-less has quite a few communication gems within. I am not sure if I buy into the authors view of the world which seems quite manipulative but there are undoubtedly useful tools and techniques in this book. I have tried a number of them and noticed that the reaction I get from people is quite different ,so it kind of speaks for itself.
