Story
Our brains do their best to help us out, but every so often they can be real assholes - having meltdowns, getting addicted to things, or shutting down completely at the worst possible moments. Your brain knows it's not good to do these things, but it can't help it sometimes - especially if it's obsessing about trauma it can't overcome. That's where this life-changing book comes in. With humor, patience, science, and lots of good-ole swearing, Dr. Faith explains what's going on in your skull, and talks you through the process of retraining your brain to respond appropriately....

Too much unnecessary bad language in many places, but the advice and attitude was useful.... I like the content overall... however the audio quality was not great... Strange background noises and weird words came up occasionally....

I truly LOVE this book !!!! It is a must read...
Reviewed: 02-01-23
As someone who has studied over 140 different self-improvement books.... books about success in business, communication skills, conflict resolution, dealing with difficult people, motivation, productivity, leadership and managing people, this is one of the best books I have found, because it covers the most important concepts and most of the common themes in the best self-improvement books better than most books out there. If you don’t have time to study 140 different books, just study this one! I assure you, it is extremely comprehensive and useful.
This book is jam-packed full of timeless wisdom and success principles that will help you to achieve great goals that you set for yourself... No fluff, no hype, no unnecessary psychology... It covers dozens of practical principles of successful thinking, execution, business operations, dealing with people problems, time management and high productivity.
Just brilliant. Also, the material is very easy to follow and understand. Very well organized and presented. If you don't learn at least 2 or 3 very useful new concepts in this book, I will be very surprised. I would recommend this as a "must read" book for all those planning on starting a new business, to avoid common mistakes that lead to business failures, and to those hoping to improve the profitability of an existing business operation. It is full of extremely practical tips and advice - rarely or never taught in school or in classrooms, and rarely taught by parents or mentors. You will be very surprised to learn many new things you didn't know before, as I was. I plan to study it 2 or 3 more times!
Well done to the author. This is a practical guide for success in business, dealing with people and effectively managing oneself. I am sure it will help you in several different areas of your life.
