I really loved the process of this journey, mapping out grief, traveling through a forest and the twists and turns along the way. As an Art Therapist I plan to recommend this book to clients and work with them using art expression to work through this process with the guided journeys.

I enjoyed how the author associated her current life and events with Celtic mythology and brought those ancient stories to life in our current world.

I think there were some good tips in this book. I do relationship counseling so I was interested in what was in here. It does have some great prompts for how to work through some conflicts and open up communication better.
Communication, acceptance, validation, and spending intentional (not passive) time together in order to enhance the relationship and reconnect.

When boundaries have been crossed. Traumas you didn't know were traumas. These were the people you were supposed to be able to trust. I help clients work through childhood wounds and healing their inner child. I have some clients with trauma bonds (betrayal bonds) and this was helpful on verifying some things I see that they remain in denial about. It will help me with some of my approaches in how to open up certain conversations that might help them reframe things to see from a different perspective so they can heal from some extreme betrayals.
I also really enjoyed the guided journey!

Loved all the messages in this book. Highly recommend. A lot of things have to do with our mindset and reprogramming what we've been taught in society. Helping us to break out of our own glass ceiling. It's not others who are holding us back. It's ourselves.

Irvin Yalom has a beautiful approach to creating a strong therapeutic relationship with his clients. That is where the healing and transformation happens. It's a focus on the whole person and not just a diagnosis. Holding the space for someone can be the most important part of the therapeutic process. Great assortment of stories.

I've read a lot of books on self-development, shifting our thoughts, and creating new stories. I am a licensed counselor and have a lot of training for helping people through this also. But I love how this book takes you on the journey using God's word as reference. I will be recommending this book to my Christian clients.

A collection of poems, stories, rituals, blessings, and recipes.
I think I would have liked more of the history of Brigid. But there are many beautiful stories of how people honor Brigid and share connections in their life.
I listened at a faster speed.

The most fabulous book I've listens to/read about self-love with guidelines for how to work through things, journaling, processing, and defining your values. LOVE LOVE LOVE this book! I love the prompts and activities she provides and stories to support the information. I'll be recommending it to friends and clients.
