Absolutely Magical

I have officially falling in love with this series, TJ Klune had become one of my favorite authors, and I don't think I'll be able to listen to another audiobook unless it's narrated by Michael Leslie. Michael's voice talents are off the chart. You can't go wrong with this series. I highly recommend you start with the first book in the series and work your way through to the end you won't be disappointed.

Story
Once upon a time, in an alleyway in the slums of the City of Lockes, a young and somewhat lonely boy named Sam Haversford turns a group of teenage douchebags into stone completely by accident. Of course, this catches the attention of a higher power, and Sam's pulled from the only world he knows to become an apprentice to the king's wizard, Morgan of Shadows.

I can't say how much I loved this audio book. The story was amazing, I love the cast of characters, and the narration was awesome! Seriously, the narrator brought every character to life in the most epic way imaginable. I lost count the number of times I laughed out loud or was bantering along with the characters as they were chatting amongst one another. If you're looking for a new series to start, I would start here!

A Pleasant Adventure

To be honest I wanted to see what was the difference between the movie versus the book. The acting was very good and I enjoyed the direction of the story. I will admit it comes second when comparing it to the film version. Overall the story felt too short and many other characters underdeveloped plus there were a few story lines that seem to be unresolved or could have been completely cut out all together.
