Sequel to The Lightning-Struck Heart

Michael Lesley is amazing & really brings these characters to life. I am going to hold off reading the the rest of this series until they come out in audio. I so totally dislike Ruv (okay I kind of hate him), he is just a jerk & I don't trust anything about him, at all! I love the whole teenage dragon (even he is only a teenager because he counts his age based on his being awake a year and not counting the 99 yrs that he sleeps.

For the first time since I started listening to books, I don’t think it would be better if I read it myself. Michael Lesley is a genius at creating different characters’ voices and acting the scenes of the book, not just narrating. I always knew who was speaking by the tone of voice (not just accent). His performance absolutely enhanced the quality of the book. TJ Klune has written an hysterical story (seriously, literally laugh-out-loud funny), laced with just enough serious moments to make it feel real. Klune created a captivating world with diversely entertaining characters. Highly recommend this audible book and series!

I love everything TJ Klune and Destiny of Dragons did not disappoint. It has the perfect amount of action, fantasy, and humor. The narration by Michael Lesley was amazing.

A brilliant, engaging performance by Michael Lesley. The characterization of the voices is spot on and simply makes a compelling story even MORE entertaining.

I didn't see that coming, yet I wasn't surprised. Foreshadowing was deep with this one, and havong listened to the last book, there is absolutely a reason for it all.

All I can say is what I've said in the other reviews. This series has given me a lightning6 Struck Heart, this madcap group of insane individuals are so amazing in their bravery, love, acceptance and craziness.

I am an independent unicorn and I don't need to be saved by no men's, but I think part of me was saved by this book. It has given me hope and love during a time I think I lost it a bit. I felt like I was fighting right along with them.

TJ truly wrote an amazing series with beyond excellent world building, with a cast of characters that grow and come into who they are supposed to be.


Michael was truly an amazing narrator, I have listened to MANY different narrators, ironically 3 of my favorites are named Michael. BUT this Micheal was beyond compare. He exuded emotion, I feel wrecked. He took a fabulous book, and made it EXTRAORDINARY. I plan to immediately go back and listen to them all 4 again, because I can't give up my new found friends and family.

If you are considering buying or using a credit for this series, I can absolutely promise you that you will NOT be sorry, unless you have no spirit of a rag tag group of friends, a evil villain, knights, magic, wizards, dragons, kings, princes, true love, prophecies and the dreaded word...... Destiny.

while I loved the book and the superb acting, I really really found myself hating Sam. I loved him in the first book but in this one, he is just grating. He comes off like every over confident douche who balks at destiny cliche.
AND HE MONOLOGUES MORE THAN THE VILLAIN.
