This was well written and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I couldn’t stop listening. It was wholesome and had a few surprises. Definitely recommend.

Started out optimistic about this story. Don’t really understand why Chase is chasing her so hard after a total of mere hours spent together. Halfway through the book I realize Emma wants to be strong willed but has zero regard for her own safety. Shocked your apartment was broken into after your ex literally told you that’s what he’s done before. As soon as someone tells me that, all locked are changed and door sensors installed. Though that should already be installed as a single person living alone. He’s super pushy and she’s a pushover. 3/5 maybe 2/5 but the writing isn’t horrible, it’s the story that isn’t great.

I’m not one for listening to rich housewife’s but this had a very twisty ending. Loved it

I can’t deduct points for AI voice for performance because it’s AI and there isn’t a neutral. The story was very surprising. I loved the length and couldn’t put it down. I need more of this quirky family.

I found the little brother a bit annoying because he didn’t listen but overall it was a really great story and I love that it was narrated like it is. It made it entertaining to listen to and time flew by. I can’t wait to hear more from this author.

A cute murder mystery about a vet who’s friend was found dead and she wouldn’t rest until it was solved. A well laid out story which left me wondering what was going to happen and the ending was a nice surprise that I didn’t guess.
The narration was awesome navigating between the characters and it kept my attention.
I would definitely recommend this book and will listen again. 5/5.

All of a sudden the book ended. Let’s start from the beginning, for a beloved aunt she didn’t read any documents the lawyer gave her, didn’t know how long things were run down, didn’t know she had an inn. Was she beloved as she says, sure seems like it was a distant relative who she didn’t care about but claims to have cared. Focus on the details is so irritating. How many time do you need to mention you were going to donate bags of clothes but were worries they weren’t in boxes. Needless information. Also who actually worries how they are donating things, when there is more important things to worry about. I don’t understand why she is so worried about her son but doesn’t actually do anything about that. Like what if he’s dead and she’s like oh he will call or text some say. She isn’t trying very hard. This book was apart of a series apparently but still left unfinished and too filled with little unnecessary details. The whole book built up and nothing was resolved. Which makes me hesitant to read the next one, because is it going to do the same thing, will it resolve anything or just keep leaving everything until the next one. If you have time to waste and need something to listen to it isn’t bad, just it’s good either.
