Great acting, boring story. I love a good HEA, but this one wasn't it. The story was predictable, and I only enjoyed it because of the voice actors. The book was low on spice and devoid of interesting story. I wasted an audible credit on this one.

This is the audiobook for anyone in need of a quick DDLG fix. FMC is educated and knows what she wants. MMC has been hurt before and is unsure about getting into a new relationship. Put the two together and you have this wonderfully entertaining short.

Never a dull moment. This book was action-packed from start to finish. FMC is strong, witty, and educated. MMC is brooding, and in love with love from a previous life. Fate and a common cause brings the two together. Hang on for a wild ride from start to finish. Action-packed girl power with a smattering of true love.

This was an adorable novella. Broken-hearted MMC falls in love with his best friend's younger sister. FMC has always had a thing for the MMC. A slip-up by the FMC's assistant causes the characters to link up under weird circumstances. The spice is just right, and there is a HEA. Narration of this novella will pull you into the novella.

The narrator's performance was unremarkable. I could barely stomach the listen. The narrator's performance was something akin to a robot reading.

This audiobook is a well-written, short listen. I was provided with a copy with little expectations. Ironically, I happened to enjoy it. The book is written and narrated by the author. I was captivated by the author's cadence in narrating the book and his voice. He made an audiobook about mental health "sound" very interesting and kept my attention. Further, I like the subject matter and found the author's presentation of the subject matter to be insightful. The reasons detailed for why a person may need therapy inspired me. I listened to the book during a lunch break and am glad that I didn't let it sit.
