Love the series....(spoilers)

I love this series. Its one of my favorites. Does that mean it's perfect or the best written‽ No, but it's fun and the characters are awesome and I am invested! That said I didn't like this pairing. I enjoy MMM+ when done well. The problem with this is that Glen isn't likeable. Not at all. I like Sawyer and I like Alex and their relationship is believable. When Glen is added it becomes kinda meh....and Sawyer definitely gets pushed aside. He doesn't get any firsts, it's always Glen and he doesn't get to be the biological parent. Idk I just think given Sawyers feelings of inadequacy this unbalance would really bother him a lot more than we see on page. Maybe I will end up liking him more in later books.
I like the overarching plot in the book and even love the idea of dual shifters and the story about Fionn and Alex is the most compelling part of this book and how people can share parents and have totally different experiences with them.
As always the narration was top tier. Nick J Russo does AMAZING with this series!! I am never once confused and there are SO many different characters.

Jacob Conner was never planning to get married, and he's certain that sentiment didn't change even when he was completely black out drunk on the Vegas strip. Which is also why he has no problem ignoring the elephant in the room and heading back to work at the front desk of a San Francisco luxury hotel.

I really wanted to like this. I love accidental marriage stories and you really don't see a lot of love triangles in MM! The beginning kinda had a retelling of Sabrina vibes which was cute, but it veered off pretty quick 😭.
The story felt....dated. Like a 90s M/F romance that was repurposed (the fact they only use spit and precome as lube in the 1 rushed sex scene doesn't help). The boss was problematic! He knew it was Jake when they drunkingly met up in Vegas and knew Jake didn't know it was him, and he knew Jake didn't know it was him because he was beyond drunk, yet he still opted to sleep with him?! That gives me the ick! That's not consent.
The reason the brothers don't get along is because Aaron's ex raped Trevor and that's just a little throw away story?! ick ick
We never get Aaron's reaction to Jacob picking Trevor and why did he pick Trevor anyways?! it felt so rushed at the end just all okay this brother is gonna give me more so I'll pick him. I didn't feel the romance, he just picked the logical choice? I don't know why he ever even liked Aaron let alone love him, he was a douche canoe the entire book.
idk it wasn't completely bad. I enjoyed parts, but I just don't think it's the best for modern audiences who are more discerning about consent.
the narrator was new to me but he did a good job and I'd listen to something else by him.
low steam, low angst, love triangle, accidental marriage

This book was great! It was the best of the series for me. Maybe because so much happened?! I just loved all the storylines, the pacing, plenty of steamy and romantic moments. So good.

This was well written for the most part. It isn't bad, it just wasn't my cup of tea. I prefer more romcomy style sports books, and the minute I hear figure skater + hockey player I think Cutting Edge and this wasn't that and was more serious. I didn't like how mean one of the MCs is at the beginning. I found the 2nd half of the book much more enjoyable but I didn't like the major thing that happens then because it just felt unnecessarily mean to MC. idk I know it's a me thing, the book is good and I did enjoy it, totally worth listening to,, but it probably won't be something I'd reread much. The narrator was good but there was a couple times I got confused as to which character was talking.

Ryan's opinion has always been that it's better for him to leave a job, rather than be there long enough for his bosses and coworkers to realize how incompetent he is. At least he still has his dignity if he exits on his terms. His latest job? Executive assistant at a consulting firm. However, he quickly realizes that he's in over his head. The company is too big, and his job too important. It's only a matter of time before he makes a critical error. But with the previous assistant leaving, he feels compelled to stay—at least until they can find somebody more suited to the role.

Cute little MM+ Why choose omegaverse series. They are low angst and a decent amount of steam for how short they are. It bothers me they can't all bond. I want Owen to find his mate(s). I have enjoyed this series and the narrator is great.

I loved this whole series. It's like this beautiful town in this beautiful world where people have great friends and everyone communicates effectively and supports each other and I just love it. If you've read the rest of the series (and you should) we knew Theo & Laurie would be so sweet and it absolutely was. I appreciate the consensual nonmogomy aspect and how they navigated that. I'm not super into kink or power dynamics but this wasn't over the top and it was pretty well done! It's in there and it's steamy and hot but doesn't hit you over the head with it. Overall this book was great and this series was great. Can't wait for West's book and that new series!!!

Phoenix was becoming a pressure cooker nearing bursting open, as the sequestered group of savant scientists and soldiers in the glass-domed pods in Antarctica were buzzing with sexual tension. Brad McCormick figured since the limbic system associated with sexual desire is linked to libido and the part of the brain responsible for higher-level functions, like planning and thinking, he had a problem he couldn’t solve without his leadership team. To put it more explicitly, the men were extremely sexually eager.

I liked this book. It was a bit 😟 sometimes, but I did like the plot and the characters. There is a lot of various POV and it jumps around a bit and can get kinda confusing keeping track of all the characters. Also there was a time traveler and a vampire that are just not explained at all where they came from or what their point is. Since this is a trilogy I am guessing these questions get answered in future books. This is not a romance! There is a lot of sex though. I really liked the exploration of sexuality. I also felt the base was pretty authentic and while I think the choices made by characters were kinda dumb I think it's exactly how a society of absolutely no women would go 😬. Looking forward to listening to the next book in the series to see what tlin the world is even going on 😆
The narrator did a great job!

I have really enjoyed this series, but this one felt different from the others with their suddenly being demons, witches, and gods greatly expanding the universe this series exists in. I don't hate it but it made this book feel like a different style/sub genre than the rest.
That said it was a good story, I really adored how absolutely chill Blake was about everything and just went with the absolute chaos his life became, chill main characters are my very favorite and not seen enough. I hope there will be more in this series (I'm audio only do idk if there are more already out or not). I like this narrator a lot too.
