Heavy on interpretation and editorial.

This audiobook is not a summary of project 2025.
I found it hard to listen to as it seems to ramble off into interpretation and what the author thinks are the implications of project 2025.
I had been seeking a factual summary of who are the authors of each section and synopsis of what project 2025 states. Full stop.
The narration is a bit strange. It is listed as a human. The pronunciation sometimes reminds me of Google maps or another AI voice.

Story
Seldom does a book have the impact of Michelle Alexander’s The New Jim Crow. Since it was first published in 2010, it has been cited in judicial decisions and has been adopted in campus-wide and community-wide reads; it helped inspire the creation of the Marshall Project and the new $100 million Art for Justice Fund; it has been the winner of numerous prizes, including the prestigious NAACP Image Award; and it has spent nearly 250 weeks on the New York Times best seller list.

I found this to be really eye-opening and help me to think about things in a different way.
As a broad observation of just my own taste for non-fiction titles, they can be difficult in an audiobook compared with print. I thought this title did pretty well and also I skimmed.

Story
Jam-packed with misinformation, outright lies, and probable slander, The Incredibly Inaccurate Biography of Andy Richter is totally - and tonally - wrong. A “lie-ography,” if you will, manufactured by some of America’s funniest and most ignorant writers, each working independently of the others, all following one guiding principle: a mutual disregard for the truth. And a mutual disdain for Andy.

A few minutes was really entertaining but... a few hours of similar seemed painfully unfunny (to me).
And you might love every minute!
It's hard to imagine a middle ground but a person would kind of enjoy

Very interesting I'm glad I listened to this book. So many people skated free. Follow the money.
A little bit heavy on the detail for me. I listened at 1.8 speed. I think the author shines as a writer, Ms. Whelan an excellent narrator.

Story
Zero day: a software bug that allows a hacker to break into your devices and move around undetected. One of the most coveted tools in a spy's arsenal, a zero day has the power to silently spy on your iPhone, dismantle the safety controls at a chemical plant, alter an election and shut down the electric grid (just ask Ukraine). For decades, under cover of classification levels and non-disclosure agreements, the United States government became the world’s dominant hoarder of zero days.

The content was enlightening.
This has only become a more urgent and relevant topic since it's publication.
If I had the book in print I would both re-read and skim over a lot of the detail.
Ditto to the other reviews that note the final chapter is a repeat that I also thought it was a technical error but I guess intentional.
The narration was a bit distracting. Like 99% great interrupted by occasional fingernail on the blackboard. It seemed like a very good narrator perhaps didn’t know how to pronounce a few words. Nobody reviewed or edited?
In defense of the narrators seemingly weird pronunciation of Kiev as "kreev", ugh, it appears there are varied opinions about "correct" Ukrainian. Considering that "Ki-ev" is quite broadly said, including by Ukrainians and Russians, IMO that would have been a better editorial choice for the narration.
Technical question/detail, why are there no chapter titles?

Story
The story of humankind is usually told as one of technological innovation and economic influence—of arrowheads and atomic bombs, settlers and stock markets. But behind it all, there is an even more fundamental driver: Food. In Animal, Vegetable, Junk, trusted food authority Mark Bittman offers a panoramic view of how the frenzy for food has driven human history to some of its most catastrophic moments.

This book covers a lot of ground.
I have no right to critique because the author is clearly very intelligent and accomplished and thoughtful.
Just a personal opinion is that I felt the book wandered wider and editorialized more than I expected. Myself I think I would have benefited from having this in print and being able to read and skim.
