This book had no redeeming qualities. The characters were all terrible, there is no one who is believable, and it tries to make terrible people (who only ever do terrible things) into some one who should be admired.

I loved this book beginning to end. The reader does such a great job bringing this well written book to life. Even if you've seen the movie, it's a captivating read.

The author does his own research and presents a very unbiased look at the lesser known areas of polygamist Mormons. He has a good cadence as the reader. This book changed my view on polygamy in general and has a lot of great well researched information on mormonism and it's side cults.

It took a couple of chapters to get into the readers speaking style. After that, it was great!

I loved this book. It has definitely helped me identify why certain situations didn't play out the way I wanted them to. She brilliantly explains her research, and how it could help someone in their lowest moments. It's cool to use yourself as an example as her research applies to almost any situation. The book is a little dry for those people who want a storyline or something grandly dramatic, but for those of us who love science, this book is pure gold. I might just read it again.
