Story
On a chilly spring morning in Brooklyn, 19-year-old Linda Sarsour stared at her reflection, dressed in a hijab for the first time. She saw in the mirror the woman she was growing to be - a young Muslim American woman unapologetic in her faith and her activism, who would discover her innate sense of justice in the aftermath of 9/11. Now heralded for her award-winning leadership of the Women’s March on Washington, Sarsour offers a “moving memoir [that] is a testament to the power of love in action” (Michelle Alexander, author of The New Jim Crow).

I really love the concept behind this audible but it fell short sadly there about three different people discussing the topic I'm being one with nature the effects that it has on the mind and body. Sounds more like a podcast filled with your perspectives I wish there was more to it more informational facts to go with the discussion.

Instead of using your usual tactics that sometimes work and sometimes don't, what if you could harness the power of psychology and brain science to motivate people to do the stuff you want them to do - even getting people to want to do the stuff you want them to do?

I absolutely loved this book. when I first downloaded this book I was a little disappointed because I wanted the author to read the book and the fact that it wasn't just broke my heart because her voice is so soothing. I buy a little down the down the book she starts being interviewed and she speaks deeply from within on why she started writing this book and why was important and it is just an Awakening it is delightful and informative and just an all-around amazing book to have in your collection or to recommend to others it allows you to see things in ways that you once didn't and that to me is a gift and I thank her for publishing this.

Repetitive Yet Good
Reviewed: 01-07-19
First of all, I found this book repetitive in the extreme ... same idea repeated hundreds of times in nearly the same words for over 250 pages. Yet I feel that as a mother and wife it is nice to hear that you are not alone in a lot of the things she explained and that females are not the only ones that feel this way. Try listening to this with a male or even your husband so you can hear that wow he feeling the same way and you have not been aware. See as humans we are all different and in a relationship where one might be fed up another can think it is perfection.
