Story
All is not well in the city that never sleeps. Even though the avatars of New York City have temporarily managed to stop the Woman in White from invading—and destroying the entire universe in the process—the mysterious capital "E" Enemy has more subtle powers at her disposal. A new candidate for mayor wielding the populist rhetoric of gentrification, xenophobia, and "law and order" may have what it takes to change the very nature of New York itself and take it down from the inside.

The fact that this is the last book in the series left me sad. I absolutely loved all the characters, the story, the way everything was written. It's so rare to see adults in fantasy that isn't boring. The performance of the story really added a whole another layer to the story. Beautiful, I'll miss this.

Being someone who experiences Migraine alone in my circle of people has really left me feeling like I'm exaggerating my symptoms. From a fault of anyone, just from the isolation. This book it almost felt like it took the words out if my head and put them in an order that showed me that no I am not alone. someone else out there goes through something similar and it's real. I feel validation and heard. It's what I needed

I adored the voice actors, I loved the story and the twists. It kept me guessing what would happen but it does a nice way of giving you enough so you could piece things together I'd you gave it a thought or you would guess it right before the reveal. I enjoyed it so much

This book gave and gave and gave until I didn't know how to take anymore. The writing is phenomenal. You feel everyone's feeling and ambitions in your bones. I didn't know who I wanted to win. Each character left a deep feeling in me that I just cannot express.
I have never experienced such greatness. I didn't expect this to climb it's way to the top of my favourite books. But it is at the top, where it belongs.
