Story
If confidence was a women’s size 20, then its name would have to be Aspen St. Andrews. The 31-year-old freelance journalist is living life on her own terms, except in one area. Love. She feels somewhat stuck in an engagement to a man that she once loved and that she decided to cohabitate with. They argue about her career as if it’s a hobby and Aspen is sick of it.

This is my second read by Monica Walters, and I must say I'm becoming a fan! This story was fun, exciting and steamy!
At times the female narrator sounded far away but her performance was still good. But baby! Drama (the male narrator) really brought Storms character alive and drew me into each scene!
10/10 would recommend!

Story
George Orwell's timeless and timely allegorical novel - a scathing satire on a downtrodden society's blind march towards totalitarianism. The book tells the story of a group of farm animals who rebel against their human farmer, hoping to create a society where the animals can be equal, free, and happy. Ultimately, however, the rebellion is betrayed, and the farm ends up in a state as bad as it was before, under the dictatorship of a pig named Napoleon.

Great thought provoking story!

I really enjoyed this story by George Orwell. Each event and the transitions/changes that took place on the farm really makes you think and question the work culture of society.
A very good read!
The voice acting was wonderful, unfortunately the editing was poorly done in chapter 7. Other than that the performance was great! I really felt the emotions of each character portrayed.

For 33 years, Jesus felt everything you have ever felt. Weakness. Weariness. Sadness. Rejection. His feet got tired. And his head ached. He was tempted and his strength was tested. And you know why? Because in becoming human, Jesus made it possible for us to see God. His tears, God’s tears. His voice, God’s voice. Want to know what matters to God? Find out what matters to Jesus. Want to know what in the world God is doing? Ponder the words and life of Jesus.

Great read with sound Biblical teaching!
Reviewed: 09-03-21
I throughly enjoyed this book by Max Lucado. This is the second book of his I’ve read/listen to and it was very encouraging and uplifting. I cried and rejoiced as his biblical teachings ministered to my heart. It’s sometimes difficult to find good Christian reads with sound biblical teachings that focus on spiritual growth and relationship with God as opposed to religious busyness, so I really enjoyed this book. 10/10 would recommend. Also, Ben Holland’s reading was perfect.
