Mr. Baldacci is a great mystery writer but his latest effort shows that he has bought in to the Trump derangement syndrome. The idea that the KKK has been revived and ready to take over is ludicrous.
A completely predictable ending!

This take on the so called neoliberal leadership in America is far from objective. Gerstle’s take on Donald Trump borders on libel.
My granddaughter, a college senior, recommended this piece of garbage. I promised to read it and discuss it with her. I will do this.
This type of book is what is being pushed in our overly liberal colleges. There does not seem to be any sense of political balance

I loved everything about this book. Titus Welliver reading the Bosch role is a huge plus. The story involves much of today’s latest technology and its relationship to the law. Just a great story that is perfectly presented

Since I am from a large Irish Catholic family that is very competitive, I can relate to the Dugan family. Overcoming the Irish Curse looms large.
The story is great. Now that Digoni has introduced us
to Keira and the Dugan family, hopefully we will see again

Generally an excellent book but I think AH is portrayed as brilliant, manipulating, cunning, egotistical and controlling. The author questions AH’s contributions to the creation of our economic system. He claims it may have been inevitable with or without him.
Understand that most of our contemporary historians present a liberally slanted view of our past leaders. This is still an excellent book

This post Civil War series of vignettes on notable people of that era may be considered somewhat biased toward the South but still worth reading. There is a big inaccuracy in the brief William Seward vignette. The author has confused Boss Tweed with Thurlow Weed. The latter being the party leader who championed Seward
