It was difficult to keep track of the characters. All of them sounded the same. But had great Scottish accents. Though not the authentic accent which would be real tough to follow.

Perhaps its best to read the book. Then you could flip back and recheck who is who

I saw Anthony Horowitz was the writer of some good episodes of the Midsomer Murders. So decided to give this a try.

It was pretty good. I would go as far as saying this is nearly as good as Agatha Christie’s books. The narrators are pretty good too.

I will be looking for more of his books.

I did not listen to this book for a long time thinking that it was just a separate edition of the Lightening Tree which was part of a short story collection I read a while ago.

This version is much better. So recommend it.

Great performance and good story.

I had kept this book in my library for a long time without listening to it. But when I did pick it up, I could not stop listening.

Generally I prefer to read rather than listen to Jeffrey Deaver’s books because its easier to flip back and check on earlier clues that way. But this one worked on audio. I liked the last story the most.

I liked the overall story. But the conclusion was less than satisfactory. Narration is just ok.
