It was difficult to keep track of the characters. All of them sounded the same. But had great Scottish accents. Though not the authentic accent which would be real tough to follow.
Perhaps its best to read the book. Then you could flip back and recheck who is who

Story
When editor Susan Ryeland is given the manuscript of Alan Conway's latest novel, she has no reason to think it will be much different from any of his others. After working with the best-selling crime writer for years, she's intimately familiar with his detective, Atticus Pünd, who solves mysteries disturbing sleepy English villages. An homage to queens of classic British crime such as Agatha Christie and Dorothy Sayers, Alan's traditional formula has proved hugely successful.

Good Whodunit
Reviewed: 02-08-25
I saw Anthony Horowitz was the writer of some good episodes of the Midsomer Murders. So decided to give this a try.
It was pretty good. I would go as far as saying this is nearly as good as Agatha Christie’s books. The narrators are pretty good too.
I will be looking for more of his books.
