Good story. Bad narrator.

I wanted to read the audio books after seeing the anime. The story is just as awesome as I knew it would be but the narrator is terrible. I'll be buying the hard copies for the rest of the series.

Story
Quinn can barely handle her own life. When the Library of Everywhere discovers her compatible magical signature, suddenly, she is the sole existing potential librarian. Now, it's not only the weight of her world on her shoulders—Quinn must connect with the library system before the universe itself disintegrates. Once she's settled, it should be quiet, peaceful work—just as soon as she battles a few engorged bookworms, repairs hundreds of years of damage, and figures out why there's been no librarian for the last several centuries.

it was a good enough story but was poorly written. I couldn't even finish it it caused me so much anxiety. it was like the author had to explain the world as fast and and childish as they could.

Story
Some people have monsters for a boss, but not everyone has an undead Necromancer Lord at the office. Lily has been the Lich's secretary ever since his evilness took over the company. She loves her job, but she's got some questions about her boss. Like what's under that cloak of ever-billowing. Her wondering intensifies when one day the Lich needs something from her that isn't just scheduling appointments—but a shiver. He needs it for a spell, but it feels like it crosses a line from their usual workplace banter.

so much could have been written to make this story more interesting. the author just seamed to want to end it as quick as possible.
