Loved it but please stop

Great story I love the web novel but please stop with the sound effects either get a actual board for sound effects or don't do any at all. It turned me off from the story so many times hearing this guy gargle spit in his mouth making them. I swear my cheeks started to hurt as if I was the one doing the bad sound effects.

overall, pretty good

this one is pretty good. some good.mechanics and the story is good. characters could be more fleshed out but there is enough here to want to move on to book 2. worth the credit.

Good story, ok narration.

I enjoyed the story, the characters and setting was done well. I'm sure the narrator only read what was given to him. However, his sound effects were unnecessary, and a bit irritating. I probably will continue the series.

Odd choice to include sound effects

Great story but the sound effects that voice actor does is odd and takes one out of the story

Simple and lots of fun

I really enjoyed this book. Pretty simple concepts not remaking the mold here. But I thought it was really done. I really like that they didn’t spend a lot of energy flushing out the world instead let us just experience the world from The main characters perspective. He does a good job of living in the world without explaining it it makes learning about what’s happening interesting. Performance is good like others have said he does make his own sound effects but it’s not really that much and even though I think it’s a little silly there’s something old Timey storyteller like about it.

a good start to a series

wasn't a fan of them reading his stat page so often. I think it's important to get those stats in there at time but it happens alot.

Stop with the mouth sound effects

Overall an amazing book, and the narrator does a good job telling the story, but this guy really needs to stop with mouth sound effects. It comes off as a bit dumb and annoying more than helpful to the story.

Great story.. but the voice actor..

Wonderful store and plot. I love the main characters and the drama/suspense they’d put into it. Listen to it made me want to buy the second book and read it.
I read the comic and it’s wonderfully portrayed in words.
But the voice actor kills me a little bit. Now audible, I’ve spent the last year and some change listening to litrpg’s and your telling mw you guys couldn’t have used the bell noises and sound affects in this story!; instead of having the actors try to make them.
The sound affects were a turn off at times. But I can get past anything( plus I listen while I do my job and it’s easy to listen past it when you can’t use your hands.) I hope in the next one, sound affects are added, and maybe a female voice actor?
But it’s a wonderful story. And I do like the voice actor. It’s just sound affects .
