Story
Celebrating her forty-fifth birthday at her local pub, popular podcaster Alix Summer crosses paths with an unassuming woman called Josie Fair. Josie, it turns out, is also celebrating her forty-fifth birthday. They are, in fact, birthday twins. A few days later, Alix and Josie bump into each other again, this time outside Alix’s children’s school. Josie has been listening to Alix’s podcasts and thinks she might be an interesting subject for her series. She is, she tells Alix, on the cusp of great changes in her life.

I love audio books read with an accent of any kind. This book was good and I loved the plot twist. when and where I won't say.At times I felt I was done but something kept pulling me back and I'm glad it did. Good book. I'm hooked.

wished it was longer but still a great story.

the back ground drama about the brother only left me wanting to know more and even if it was the motivating factor behind what the sisters did for a living felt like filler material and would have been best left out. or add more chapters so we can get closure about the brothers death.

Story
Imagine living with a fear so visceral each day that simply walking down the street draws terror to one’s core. That’s the best case scenario for a woman on the streets of Juárez, Mexico. Kate del Castillo (La Reina del Sur) delivers a stunning one-woman performance that transports listeners from a New York stage to the treacherous streets of Juárez, Mexico, where thousands of women have been murdered in an ongoing epidemic of violence.

sad, so sad. I just, it's just sad. it's more than a book or Audible story its life and it's real. Yet I'm listening as if it is entertainment. this book is in the wrong spot it should be a documentary yelled from the streets. How terrible when we encounter those who have no value for life. this is a very sad read
