My only complaint is it’s over! These are my favorite to listen to: a movie-but how my mind sees it! I love the familiar voices of the actors. Great sorry-just want MORE!

Listen in 1.1 speed

Love the story. Gave me all the feels! First love-new love-sad-scared alllll the feels.
Narrator: awful! I had to start and stop the book a few times. Listening at 1.1 speed helped a lot. Majority of the time, it didn’t bother me. Once I got far enough in-the story line took all the attention and the narrator was not as noticeable. I feel like she just sounds drunk or something???
All in all-worth the listen!

Story
In a future so real and near it might be now, something happens when women go to sleep: They become shrouded in a cocoon-like gauze. If they are awakened, if the gauze wrapping their bodies is disturbed or violated, the women become feral and spectacularly violent; and while they sleep they go to another place.... The men of our world are abandoned, left to their increasingly primal devices. One woman, however, the mysterious Evie, is immune to the blessing or curse of the sleeping disease.

could not have been a greater waste of time

This was a really dumb book. The narrator was Awesome! And she kept me listening until the end-but their was no direction with this story. Still unsure now that I have finished it. It was such a waste of time. I don’t get how this has had any success…I feel like it had a beginning, a middle, and no end really. I was waiting for some reasoning or completion of thought with the story, but it never came

Story
Kristen Leonard is done with setups. She’s not interested in your son or your nephew or your butcher or the guy who mows your lawn, thank you very much, grandma! After all, she’s a modern woman - she’ll take her chances on the algorithms of online dating to find her ideal man. Before long, she meets a man who might just be the one - he’s hilarious, quick-witted, and full of heart. And when she meets up with Cameron in real life, he certainly looks exactly like his profile picture...but something’s not quite right.

Narrators are awesome! But story felt rushed sadly. I wanted more from each character. And just never got it…

I felt like I had the teenage girl crush feelings, but in an adult setting I could relate to! My only complaints is that it was all over to soon! I absolutely LOVED listening to this!!! Fantastic narration and story!
