The truth shall set you free!

Do the work and this book will lead you to the tools you need to heal. As we can't solve what we can't (or refuse to) see, many of my patients and myself have tried to fix or treat the effects of illness with medication or therapies that miss the mark. Most therapies focus on bailing out water from a floundering ship, which can work for a time, but will never allow true forward movement or solve the underlying issue(s). The only way to stop the leak of mental or physical energy is to first find the hole and then patch it. Mark's book provides a map to repair the leak and move the ship forward to a new and fulfilling destiny. The negative energy seeks both expression and consciousness to resolve and this book is an expression of consciousness in itself. I can't recommend it enough.

The best kind of audiobook!

I found this book both informative and practical. The meditations were really good and reinforced her message. I would definitely recommend this book for anyone who wanted to understand how their mind works against them. The guided meditations show the way to more inner peace and out of the constant rumination that the ego/survival impulse tries to impose.

Story
Stephen Mitchell, the renowned translator of the Tao Te Ching, selected excerpts from that ancient text as a stimulus for Byron Katie to talk about the most essential issues that face us all: life and death, good and evil, love, work, and fulfillment. The result is an audiobook that allows the timeless insights of the Tao Te Ching to resonate anew for us today, while offering a vivid and illuminating glimpse into the life of someone who lives what Lao-tzu wrote more than 2,500 years ago.

I did the school for the work in March 2015. Was very impressed with it and learned a great deal. This was a great reminder of the work and BK's philosophy.

Story
Have you ever heard of your inner child? Well, this is the classic book that started it all. In 1987, Charlie Whitfield's breakthrough concept of the child within - that part of us which is truly alive, energetic, creative. and fulfilled - launched the inner child movement. Healing the Child Within describes how the inner child is lost to trauma and loss, and how by recovering it, we can heal the fear, confusion and unhappiness of adult life.
