Story
My new neighbor happens to be the grumpiest billionaire in Whispers, but his gravelly voice and golden brown eyes make this city girl weak at the knees. When my life imploded and I lost my job and my fiancé in a matter of weeks, I didn’t know what my next step should be. Then I received an inheritance that would change my life forever. Moving to a small town and renovating the old farmhouse was a step in the right direction. But bickering with my startling good looking, yet much older neighbor was not part of my plan.

This is my kind of age gap romance. I prefer to listen about adults and not 18-21 year olds. The story was told so well, I enjoyed every minute of it. The narrators were so good and added depth to the story.

Each book in this series gets more interesting than the previous. I enjoyed this one so much I was disappointed when it ended. I love following Julie’s worlds, they draw you in. I would like to hear about Revenant when she’s done with this town.

Story
Long ago Rourke Clarke gave his heart to the only woman he will ever love. He was resigned to a life without her even though she was the fire that lit up his soul. He would gladly let her burn him to ash for one more chance. Charlemaine Morgan learned a long time ago that everything has a cost. The Navy cost her the love of her life. The cost of being with her abusive ex was her unborn child. Now, she wonders what the cost will be if she gives Rourke a second chance.

Story
I’m Caleb “C-Bomb” Baumgarten, the bad boy drummer of Red Card Riot. After tragedy strikes, I get the bright idea to hire my daughter’s remaining lifeline, her “Auntie Aubbey,” as my live-in nanny in her small town. I’m determined not to give in to my white-hot attraction to Aubrey, since I need her to certify my sobriety and testify on my behalf at an upcoming custody hearing. But you know what they say about best laid plans, right? Yeah. My bad.

I enjoyed Caleb and Aubrey’s story so much. It was good to see Caleb get his life together and be happy, it was also good to visit with characters from previous books. It was like visiting old friends to me. Lauren is an instant click for me, one of my top four authors. The narration was top notch, Andi is always good, Sean is fairly new to me but I love the way he gets into character, they both bring the story to life!

Story
When ballet dancer Clara Campbell arrives in New Orleans, lonely and homesick, she is immediately captivated by the story of Windisle Plantation and the tragic tale that is said to have transpired beyond its gate. Legend has it that it is abandoned by all living souls, but to Clara’s great surprise, it is not a ghost she hears through the stone wall surrounding the property, but a flesh and blood man: a scarred stranger with a pain deeper and darker than the churning waters of the Mississippi river that flows beside his self-imposed prison.

Story
No one knows what happens up at Midnight Manor. The home of the Voss brothers sits like a sentinel looking down on our small town, remaining a mystery. The four brooding billionaires rarely leave the confines of the iron gates, fueling rumors that have existed for decades. When my father dies, all the security I’ve known is ripped away, forcing me to come face to face with the eldest brother, Asher Voss. His outward beauty is just as I’d heard—it belies a predatory nature, irresistibly drawing me in.

Story
Nate Carter left Australia's elite SASR unit after a tragic accident. Shattered by the experience, he thought taking a job in the States might be a good way to start over. His father's former employer, McKay-Taggart, has a position for him in the bodyguard unit. He never imagined himself risking his life for celebrities and the wealthy, but it will do for now. It will also give him a chance to reconnect with old friends, including the girl who'd been like a little sis to him ten years before. These days, however, his feelings for Daisy O'Donnell are anything but brotherly.
