I was unable to finish this book. The loud cackling laugh the narrator used spoiled the whole mood. Every time she used it I cringed.

Story
Information is everything in "Hard-Boiled Wonderland". A specialist encrypter is attacked by thugs with orders from an unknown source, is chased by invisible predators, and dates an insatiably hungry librarian who never puts on weight. In "The End of the World" a new arrival is learning his role as dream-reader. But there is something eerily disquieting about the changeless nature of the town and its fable-like inhabitants. Told in alternate chapters, the two stories converge and combine.

What did you love best about The Concrete Blonde: Harry Bosch Series, Book 3?
I loved the Narrator! He made the book come to life and I will look for books narrated by Dick Hill for my next purchase.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Detective Boch who is the main character and drives the story line. He seemed real with good and bad faults.
What about Dick Hill’s performance did you like?
He is amazing and made this book much more than it would have been had I been reading as opposed to listening. His pacing and clear voice and professionalism has spoiled me for other narrators. I just started listening to Scott Brick narrating the Doll Maker and had to fight dissappointment as he is not nearly as good.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
funny but it would be the Doll Maker.
Any additional comments?
I enjoy audible thank you for the nice selection of books you offer.

Published posthumously in 1964, A Moveable Feast remains one of Ernest Hemingway's most beloved works. It is his classic memoir of Paris in the 1920s, filled with irreverent portraits of other expatriate luminaries such as F. Scott Fitzgerald and Gertrude Stein; tender memories of his first wife, Hadley; and insightful recollections of his own early experiments with his craft.
