Story
Can’t Hurt Me, David Goggins’ smash hit memoir, demonstrated how much untapped ability we all have but was merely an introduction to the power of the mind. In Never Finished, Goggins takes you inside his Mental Lab, where he developed the philosophy, psychology, and strategies that enabled him to learn that what he thought was his limit was only his beginning and that the quest for greatness is unending.

Undisciplined Language
Reviewed: 06-25-24
The overly course language limits the audience. Did not finish the book. It seems discipline could have been used in the use of language too.

Story
Escape the enemy's deadly trap! The Bait of Satan exposes one of the most deceptive snares Satan uses to get believers out of the will of God - offense. Most people who are ensnared by the bait of Satan don’t even realize it. Don’t be fooled! You will encounter offense, and it’s up to you how it will affect your relationship with God. Your response will determine your future. If offense is handled correctly, you will become stronger rather than bitter. John Bevere shows you how to stay free from offense and escape the victim mentality.

Every Christian should read and reference often. This pertains to the person's inner walk with the Lord but also to those that deal with people, leadership and a community of a church. Well written and explained.

In this primer of apologetic thought, Dr. Sproul affirms four logical principles that are necessary for all real discussion and teaches you how to defend your faith in a faithless world. Using the writings of church fathers and philosophers throughout the ages, he uncovers the common ideologies that work against faith. The defense of the faith is not a luxury or an intellectual vanity. It is a task appointed by God that you should be able to give a reason for the hope that is in you as you bear witness before the world.

A short listen to render good cheer at Christmas time which can be lonely and discouraging to some people. It removes the self-absorbed nature and helps us to reflect on the good that has happened in our lives. A stellar performance by Curry with an flow between characters that was professional in every way. Excellent!

Story
Perhaps the best-loved 19th-century American novel, Mark Twain's tale of boyhood adventure overflows with comedy, warmth, and slapstick energy. It brings to life an array of irresistible characters - the awesomely self-confident Tom, his best buddy Huck Finn, indulgent Aunt Polly, and the lovely, beguiling Becky - as well as such unforgettable incidents as whitewashing a fence, swearing an oath in blood, and getting lost in a dark and labyrinthine cave.

Wonderful capture of a different era

Wonderful story of a childhood long gone. The portrayal of a boy growing up and the wonderful creativity and imagination engulfs you from the start. This is certainly a childhood that is remarkable but you certainly would not want your own child to partake. :) I believe very good for teenagers and older but may give too many "ideas" to adventurous boys still forming their own characters. Enjoyable none the less. Mark Twain is a master at literature and tongue in cheek humor!
