Man, oh man, oh man!!! How could you leave us with so many open ended paths???? This series ends a rollercoaster ride with descent into the unknown!!! There are so many tangents left to navigate at the end of this story, that it's almost frustrating! So well written and narrated!!! I love Abraham's writing, because he can give you so much without profanity or sex. His series allow me to share to anyone in the family without worry. Thanks again for another wonderfully woven tale.

Love the Charlie series and REALLY like how it's being brought into and up to speed with the "Going Home" series! Can't wait for the finish of the blending and the smooth segue that appears to be taking place. Next I want to see how these writers being this series and "Cry Havoc" together!!!

Madison and her mother are both neurotic and the belief that a teenage girl is going to be 'more' battle ready than the combat veterans IS hysterically funny. To say that this chick has more organizational/leadership skills and other abilities over her adult companions IS laughable. Talk about a narcissistic personality with hubris! Maria is a believable character as a leader, BUT, those others are psych patients.

The men (I use the term loosely) in this story with the exception of Nick and Elmer are geldings and the women with the exception of Tara and Tina are useless. Together the main characters are about as useless as a butt plug in a colostomy patient! Grayson doesn't know where his tools are as a prepper, really??? Grayson understands that the U.S. is in disarray, yet he doesn't keep a firearm on him wherever he goes.while even on his own property, because no one would ever sneak up on you there... Jake, keeps his unloaded and in his bag!?!?!? Jake also can't make the connection, that when an assailant is running toward/after you, you eliminate the threat first and then try to get your transport running!. Oh but wait, these people have firearms AND NONE of them have a holster for them, so that they can properly carry them!?!?!? Are you serious???? If these people aren't the biggest gaggle of maggots!!! The mental acuity of these people is about as graceful as a pregnant elephant with a fifth leg!!! All I wanted to do was reach into the pages and either try to knock some semblance of sense into them or just take them out myself. They're just too STUPID to survive anything, let alone a grid down situation...

Love this series and REALLY loved this installment! There was much more comedic relief dialogue and reference. The action, once again, spot on! That's what made this story too short. All things were blended so well, that you ran out of chapters long before you even thought about getting tired of listening! I cannot wait for the next book! Excellent job! On a side note, I wonder how long it will be before Roscoe farts himself to death???

No such thing as Elgin military base

Overall

The story once again is a wonderful tale. I'm just not sure whether the author misspelled the name of the base in this story or the narrator botched it up. What I AM sure of is that there is NO such animal as an Elgin military base in Florida. I'm from Daytona beach, was in the Air Force and the ONLY base in Florida to come remotely close to that name is EG-lin AFB in the panhandle. The next c!osest base located to it is Pensacola NAS. I cringed when Duke mispronounced the name of the base, the name of the St. Augustine grass and such. Word to the wise, get versed in the names of the things in the story prior to speaking into the mic. I did enjoy how much of the storyline gelled with the events of the "Going Home" series with Morgan, Sarge and such. Similar type stories from a different kaleidoscope glass...

This was an excellent read! The characters had great depth. The narration was marvelous! I was able to see each character in my mind because of the ability of the narrator to give each a distinctive voice. Well done indeed. The hero: strong, smart, silent and deadly. The heroine: a ditz...
Let's just say, I reeeeally would have been bewitched to put my bacon on the line for such a vacuous, impetuous, scatterbrained person...

Awesome read! The narration is fantastic! He doesn't just read this book, but acts it out as though it were a scripted play. There is incredible depth of characters and their back stories, situations caught up in, processes and tactics, supply items to have, attain or fabricate. I also enjoy the recurring references to OUR history, The Constitution and quotes from both. Lastly, but most certainly not least,it is understood that without G-D & HIS grace WE THE PEOPLE would not have succeeded once again in OUR struggle for LIBERTY. From one patriot to another, "Just a fantastic job sir!"

Excellent book! I love how it all came full circle! So glad I've listened to both series. Now I want to see the progression from here. Both time lines have merged and the threat is still out there. There is a break in the action, but the danger is far from over...

Finally, the good guys catch a break!!! After all the strife our heroes have had to deal with, they finally get a win without having to look over their shoulders of sleep with one eye open. Well done in deed!!! I think the scariest part was Mike and the helicopter, helicopter, helicopter! Hahahaha!!!
