A well written story with great characters and an exciting storyline. you think it's going to be dry by the time of the narrator but no, without dramatics its a can't put it down thriller. as the British would say 'well done.'

what I liked was a bad guy who was very bad. you had Such sympathy for the victims and continued to root for them the whole book. they also seemed so real and likable.

this book was one of the best this year. it has so much compassion without demoralizing the listeners or exploiting the victim. the story was amazing. my only crazy moments were with diagnosing the health problems of the refugees. as a retired nurse I felt frustration at times with off the cuff symptom dismissal from medical professionals. we should do much better than that.

Born white in USA we have little idea of other people's struggles but we should learn. Mr Noah show s this without self pity and with astonishment and humor. Can we get Trump to eat caterpillars

God she gave me a headache. if she was smart enough to get into Oxford why does she have the personality of a fifth grader. My apologies to fifth graders. I agree with a previous reviewer about the book. The victim was also a horrible stereotypical phony., with a stupid pretentious voice. The book just kept rambling on and on.. Maybe the author and narrator were under pressure and I know they can be smart but please don't make women out to be those characters. I'm going to ask for a refund and try to get over this headache.
