I listened to the audiobook version. The narrator is excellent.
This book is by far my favorite of Garry Michael's. I loved all of the olympic details of downhill skiing. It made the story so much more engaging and interesting. Isaac and Foster come from two very different backgrounds and you root for them throughout the whole book, not just for their relationship but for the individual goals and accomplishments.
There was an interesting family dynamic on both parts. Isaac's family melted my heart and it made the ending so satisfying.
This book was very steamy and I loved the passion between these two athletes.
Loved this book so much! Highly recommend.

Chris was such a complex character, sweet yet tough and he carried the burden for so many people. He was so sweet with Sara in a swoony but realistic way. He didn't just jump in and fix everything, he listened and championed. He described himself as a reformed loser of sorts, having a troubled childhood where he caused a lot of turmoil in his home but he was trying to create a better life for himself. Even helping his mom, who in the end had to come to terms with her own misfortune. I loved how he was protective of his sister and enabling her to have a better life without just swooping in and saving her. Some people have to save themselves by making the right choices.

Sara was an interesting character, very smart but getting herself into a situation that could cost her everything. She didn't want to be another burden on Chris but realized that she couldn't hide things from him either. The mess she got herself into with Xander tidied itself up in the end a little too easily though. I kept waiting for something dramatic to happen, and it did, just not in the way I thought.

Overall, it was a great audiobook with deep characters that were real and raw. Totally recommend.

This book did not disappoint. Absolutely loved this book. Narration was excellent. Rarely do I laugh out loud at a book but there was this one scene that had me laughing out loud. Take a CEO out of good element and it’s sure to be funny.
Highly recommend.

Savannah gets up early every morning because she likes to start her day with a swim, her choice of exercise to stay in shape. Of course it has nothing to do with he sexy seductive swimmer, Alex who always chooses the lane next to hers. He's got a British accent and a couple of Olympic Silver medals but he's a cocky player.
Savannah's independent practical nature collides with Alex's seductive arrogant personality and the two cause waves of chemistry.
Overall the story was hot, interesting and at times playful that tied up everything with a bow at the end, which was my favorite part. Seeing this former playboy fall for the practical accountant was both sweet and swoony.

Age Gap that is sweet and full of emotion

I went into this book knowing it was age gap but nothing else. The first half was a little slow for me but it felt necessary towards the end to really understand the relationship and the characters. Although I was a little hesitant when the relationship first started thinking this seems a little too close to home, ya know. In the end, while the characters were describing and professing their love for each other, they convinced me as well.
I think had I read the book I would have come away with a different experience because the male narrator did not fit how the character was described. If Tor was a tatted up biker with a heart of gold, the narrator sounded like someone's Dad and I didn't want to get the picture in my head lol.
I gave it 4 stars because I really wanted some more emotion in the scenes with Tor and Kenzi. I was told more about their feelings instead of feel it, if that makes sense.
Totally intrigued by the epilogue and that will make me want to keep up with this family of rockstars. It was a sweet age gap story with found family elements and I really enjoyed it.

First of all, loved this series up until this last book. I did not like how Arya kept apologizing to Carter for actually standing up for herself. Carter was an agile but we knew why and he never admitted any of it to Arya. Right at the end he finally tells her he loves her. Just not a great ending. I wanted more from Arya, for her to take control more than she did.

I DNFd this audiobook because it was just badly produced. There are 2 female voices listed in the audiobook. One is the FMC and the other a bad impersonation of Gossip Girl. All of a sudden it switched to West and it didn’t even sound like it was professionally recorded. Different volume and everything. I just couldn’t finish.

I don’t even know what to say without coming across as rude but I just couldn’t work this narrator. He sounded like a Dad or a bad commercial voice over. I literally only got 5 minutes into this book and couldn’t take it anymore. For the love of all steamy audiobooks, please pick a narrator with a sexy voice. Not someone’s Dad.
