Story
The Paladin's quest to save the Andromeda galaxy begins to escalate as they seize a disputed planet from two obstinate lower level races who are blocking travel and commerce through it that other systems are depending upon to fuel the war effort against the Asferja. The thing is, after the Paladin uncork the traffic jam, they're not giving the planet back for the malcontents to muck up a second time...and that doesn't go over very well with the locals.

I’m a huge fan of star force. I’ve listened to the entire series up to Gauntlet Wars, three times. However, I think the author needs to wrap it up. He seems to be losing interest in providing quality content. This book seemed irrelevant, maybe down the road the main character will have some sort of impact on the war. In short, it was too short, seemingly irrelevant, provided nothing to the bigger picture And too far in between books for three hours,

Story
The Aftermath of a stunning victory—especially an unexpected, complete, and final victory—should be high-fives all around, listening to politicians give boring congratulatory speeches, and a well-deserved rest for the Merry Band of Pirates. Yes, the galaxy is still a freakin' mess, but that is nothing new, and for a change, that can be someone else's problem. Until, you know, something really bad happens, and only the Pirates can deal with the problem... Or not.

Should have ended.

While I love the series, I think it should have ended with the last book. This book, seems, how do I say. Not part of the original plan; Not well thought out.

Story
The galaxy remembers Hadrian Marlowe as a hero: the man who burned every last alien Cielcin from the sky. They remember him as a monster: the devil who destroyed a sun, casually annihilating four billion human lives - even the emperor himself - against Imperial orders. But Hadrian was not a hero. He was not a monster. He was not even a soldier. Fleeing his father and a future as a torturer, Hadrian finds himself stranded on a strange, backwater world.

Is this part of the War Hammer 40k universe? I'm only vaguely familiar with WH 40k. But it seems to have things in common,

Not Moving forward

I love star force. I’ve listen to every single one. The past few I feel have been wordy and could have been done in one or two chapters. What happened during this “episode “could’ve been done in two chapters. A lot of rehashing previously talked about subjects like the “?”.
